    Hi,

I’m working on a new site for a client, building it at http://www.savvybizsuccess.com. This is a domain I use for building clients’ sites separately so theirs doesn’t have to be offline as long.

Background info: It already had Virtue Premium installed from my last build. This time, I’m looking to work from Site Style 4, so I tried using the recommended plugin, Kadence Importer. Couldn’t get it to load because I kept getting a notice saying my php speed is not fast enough. Contacted my hosting company, and they said they increased my php.ini so it can load. Logged out, waited several hours, logged back in, same problem. Contacted host again, they say maybe it’s a problem with the plugin because they checked and I should be having no further problem with php speed.

Next, I tried doing it manually, following the instructions at Now some stuff did load (although it looks nothing like the demo content), but I keep getting a message that says, “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homefull not found.
Maybe you mean: ‘BlogTemplate’ or ‘BlogFeedHome'”

So, I figured, maybe when I’ve worked using this install in the past, I’d somehow deleted the template called homefull??? So I uninstalled the existing Virtue Premium and re-installed it. Made sure to activate and update the recommended plugins. Now I’m still getting that same “homefull not found” message and it still looks nothing like Site Style 4.

Any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,

I’m having the same problem…I’m getting an error that says “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias homefull not found.” It seems I do have Revolution Slider installed (came with the virtue premium and I’ve never uninstalled it.) Any help would be appreciated. (I don’t see where your instructions were that seemed to help the above user.) Thanks. The site is http://www.savvybizsuccess.com.

I have this message displayed in my shop page ? I tried everything changing alias , nothing changes. How to remove this message

I want to add Revolution Slider to the home page which is also the WooCommerce Shop default page. I am developing the site offline on AMPPS. I want the slider to appear below the main menu/Logo.
From the Theme Options, I set the home slider to Revolution Slider. Next, under “if revolution Slide”, I choose the Revolution slider title which I created. I clicked save.
But when I previewed the site, I get the following error message: “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias not found. Maybe you mean: ‘home-slider’ or ‘showcase-carousel'” on a red background.
I can’t figure out how to fix this. Please how can I correct this problem?
    Thank you for your help.

Thanks. I just created a slider for mobile, which plays just fine on my phone, but not on my tablet where I get the message “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias not found. Maybe you mean…(goes on to name other sliders)…” This is happening on both Firefox and Chrome. I tried cleaning the browser cache. Also cleaned WordPress site cache and still get the same message. In addition tried setting the slider to another version. Again, same message. It’s not seeing any version. Any idea on what may be going on and how i can correct it?

Also, on mobile — is there anyway to adjust the height of the “call to action” border and line spacing so all the words fit on one line like they do on the computer sized screen? I don’t like the way it looks on mobile.

    Ben:
I have gone through the https://www.kadencewp.com/install-virtue-premium-with-demo-content/

I imported the theme options per your instructions. I choose demo 1 to copy and paste.

Missing elements of the demo follow:

    1. Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias select not found. under the logo on the front demo page.
    2. Images are icons, not T-Shirts, etc…
    3. No footer.
    4. The demo features a video demo & an example image post not in the demo 1 advertised.

should I be uploading other files from the DEMO CONTENT zip?

My intent is to pattern my site and replace images and sliders in exactly the same place settings but with my own content.

Can you help me out here. Getting a bit frustrated.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I’ve followed the tutorial for downloading the Theme 4, however when I’ve refreshed to my webpage, I have an error message:

Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias example_full not found.

Can anyone help me with this? I’m an absolute beginner but trying my hardest

    #16253

    Hi Hannah,
Yes I don’t want because the following message is appearing:
“Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias select not found.”
Currently I have set the “static page” to “shop”:
    http://jdemi.cane2.com/

If I go to (or set “static’ to “home”
    http://jdemi.cane2.com/home/

    Error dissapears.

Maybe, you need to know that first I tried “free version”, there was no problem like this. Then, I purchased “premium”. The error message started during setup of the premium version.

    Dear KadenceThemes,

    Thanks for this great theme.
I’m running into an issue though with the demo content that I want to use.

After following all steps on installing the demo content, I get “Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias example_home not found.” error on the homepage.

I assumed there’s also demo content for the revolution slider, but was I wrong? I reinstalled everything (clean WP 3.9.1 + Virtue Premium + Plugins + activating plugins + Woo commerce + Woo commerce pages + Importing demo content + importing theme settings) 2 times now, assuming I missed a step in the installation process, but everytime the same issue.

Am I still missing anything here? Or is there plain simple no demo content for the sliders in the import?

    Thanks for your response,

    Jeroen
