    Within our Google Tag Manager I set the variable to anonymize IP addresses of visitors and
    – I copied the Google Tag Manager script within ‘Outputs between <head> and </head>’
    <!– Google Tag Manager –>
    new Date().getTime(),event:’gtm.js’});var f=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],

    <!– End Google Tag Manager –>

    – and the Google Tag Manager (noscript) within ‘Outputs immediately after the opening <body> tag’
    <!– Google Tag Manager (noscript) –>
    <noscript><iframe src=”
    height=”0″ width=”0″ style=”display:none;visibility:hidden”></iframe></noscript>
    <!– End Google Tag Manager (noscript) –>

    Now I have 2 questions on our setup for
    1) Should I remove the Google Analytics Tracking ID within the Misc Settings?
    2) An analysis with the Ryte SEO Tool told me that the IP addresses weren’t anonymized. Do I have to set something else within my theme?
    Within the Google Tag Manager the Universal Analytics settings are:
    Track Type = Pageview
    Google Analytics settingsĀ = {{Google Analytics-Einstellungen IP-Anonym}} / (the field anonymizeIP has the Value ‘true’)

    Thank you
