    Yes, hiding works, thank you.
Is the Filter displaying all the children Categories no matter what is actually in the loop?

Meanwhile i tried styling the Filter with the same “/” ::after li items (like main menu) but having a hard time. Its like the elements are off. Can you please take a look? See the two links above.
    Thank you very much.

    Hi again,

i have to use the shorcode in another way this time and need some help on styling:

    Option 1:
    [blog_posts type="photo" columns="1" orderby="date" items="3" cat="aktuell-ausstellungen"]
is it possible to force this to 1 column?

    Option 2:
    `[blog_posts type="photo" orderby="date" items="1" cat="aktuell-ausstellungen"]
    [blog_posts type="photo" orderby="date" items="1" offset="1" cat="aktuell-ausstellungen"]
    [blog_posts type="photo" orderby="date" items="1" offset="2" cat="aktuell-ausstellungen"]
using offset gives me 1 column but i’m still having a hard time making the images 100% (600px wide)

    Thank you

it’s the startpage/homepage and FF is 64.0, just updated yesterday – the only thing different is that i use the tree tab plugin to show the tabs in a sidebar

    Hi lara,

i had some similar situation with a site that sold subscriptions for training courses. I didn’t find back then (2017) a beter solutuion then to setup users by hand and to send the credentials to the users.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Ben,

any chance for the Accordion Block soon? The idea is to be able to use other Blocks inside it.
Or here is a nice idea: give the Row Layout Block a setting so it can hide the content leaving only a title :))

I could use the old accordion shortcode for now, but then i would have to change them all into blocks as the site will be operated by total WP beginners.

I tested a few hours on this:
    – deleted Custom CSS and functions
    – reviewed posts for errors in HTML view
    – made new posts and categoies
    – swaped categories in the shortcode and posts in categories
    – switched image post options

Conclusion: the shortcode works only with one post in the category, if i add a second post, it breaks the carousel.

    2. I also have this problem:
    – on category pages i have to show the posts without image
    – even if you fix the carousel, i don’t know if there is a workaround to show the same post as text in the category page and to pull the image in the carousel. Any ideas?

    Hey Kevin,

i insert it in the Shorcode Block found under Widgets – i used this Block before with other shortcodes.
The shortcode block is in the left column of Row Layout Block because i need the right column to display something else but i tried also outside the Row and it outputs the same.
    What am i missing?

And most important, i need to display the futured image of the post, now i only get text 🙁

Thank you Hanna, that works fine!
I tried that too but i guess i had something wrong in the syntax.

i’m comming back to this because i have to make it work without selecting the menu item number. Reason is that this menu is changing based on the selection on the first menu.

Sooo, why is this not applying:

    .ebene-drei-class > li:last-child:after {

same CSS works great on the first menu..

If the “old” shortcodes work,i think i can figure somethinng out.
Is there a shortcode that outputs a big picture with thumbnails like the Gallery Post?

Ben catches the ball 🙂 … but it’s not urgent, i used the simple spacing/divider for now.

@Hannah: on the Row Layout Block divider option, where you have mountains, triangles and waves, it’s handy to have a simple line too, because it would be inside the container for the whole width.

    Thank you
