    Great, it works!

    Whow Ben, you nailed it with a simple trick. Thank you.

    I taught about using the left-right menu, but i didn’t know how to put the minicart there so instead of bugging here again, i decided to make it like this. Is it even possible to put the minicart in the menu right?

    Best regards,
    B.Anders

    I don’t know how much time you want to invest in this feature, but yes it would be nice to have a button that can be styled and with custom text and even being able to put it after the content, making it a consent. For other applications the plugin is great as it is.
    Here is a decent example: https://marketpress.de/

    Maybe it’s just me trying to use as much Kadence stuff as possible, so just take it as an idea not as a request 🙂

    Thank you,
    B.Anders

    Thank you Ben, it’s usable and spares me installing non-Kadence plugins.

    It could be a nice addition to have this or a “real” button on the widget dock since this is European regulation and i hear they start stressing on this policy a bit more from now on. In Germany i have time to put the cookie consent on all sites i made, till Mai 🙁

    Cheers and have a nice week

    1. You are thinking the right way, i wouldn’t have noticed the difference, except that this art museum has very strict specs on design, meaning only one header size, and only one body font size, period, no other typography allowed, so i checked them with the inspector tool.
    Not sure if you need to change it for the whole theme, i can manage an one extra line of CSS, since i already added a ton.

    2. A widget will suit the task just fine. I just used the Tab because i use them rarely 🙂

    Thank you

    Thank you Kevin, i used it already, i just commented it out so you can see it.

    Hi Kevin,

    i’m talking about the product title here: http://museum-shop.o-zen.de/shop/

    The site is not cached jet, i used private window in FF, IE & Chrome.
    The inspector shows:

    .shopcolumn1 .product_item .product_archive_title {
        font-size: 22px;
    }

    … in all browsers.
    I’m not having a problem changing it in custom CSS, i was just wandering if this is normal.

    Thank you

    perfect, thank you

    Hi Ben,
    you are right, but since they only display phone and mail for now, the single staff page looks pretty empty.

    That is why i was asking if it is possible to hide or remove it. I’m not messing with the loop, unless you would be so nice to provide a snippet for the child functions. I know from experience that otherwise this can become a problem with future updates.

    Maybe you consider for some future update to make the link to single pages optional. I’m guessing this is not the only company that doesn’t say much about their staff and only need a grid.

    Thank you for the filter, but it still shows the … I inserted it in the child functions.php

    Thank you Hannah, i was experimenting with the width of the wrapper and babysitting at the same time :))

    90% done – i’ll just have to ask again about the “…” after the mail address, because i can’t leave it there and i can’t see a selector for that

    Sorry for bugging that much, i would use simple pictures with text, but i need the functionality of the staff groups and i need to put different groups on a lot of pages with shortcodes

    Thank you for your time

    Hi Hannah,

    i would need to completely hide the whole “… Read more” only for Staff loops.
    The site will also use the read more tag for blog and portfolio posts as it is, so i don’t want to change or hide it site-wide.
    Maybe it’s easier to make the text from the “description” break instead of using the custom excerpt?

    The Link on the image is still working and there is another one on the title. Could you take a look please?

    Thank you

    Hi Kevin,

    thanks, that could work. I see it accepts html, it’s odd the other one doesn’t.

    Can you please help hiding the “Read more” tag too, but inclusive “…”, because i can’t find a selector for that.
    Also i would hide/disable the link to the Staff Single Page – what is the best way ?

    Thank you

    Brilliant! Thank you.

    OMG! didn’t think about that. I’ll just go with fixed size and adjust for different screens.

    Thank you for taking the time.
    This separator would be a nice addition to the Themes too, like a checkbox and a color picker in the page title options.

    Thank you so much, the arrow looks great and is responsive!

    I still get that 1-2px gap to the next row when i resize. The whole arrow row jumps up and down when i resize. Tested on FF and IE, it’s worse on FF.

    Tried also with just some image to exclude the slider: http://joy.design.o-zen.de/vermietung/

    I inserted the div’s in a html widget, not on a text widget like before.

    All the best,
    B.Anders

    Hi Ben,

    If it is to difficult for mobile i could also live without the arrow but,
    ideally i would have the arrow point at the bottom of the image or slider all the time – i couldn’t make it work for all widths.

    Without the 1% bottom i get a gap between arrow and the next row at certain widths. In the attached screen that is a gap at the arrow point, it’s not a HR. Width there is 1528px. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/bWi5GH

    So, the % values for bottom and padding, etc. are not needed. Fixed pixel values for the arrow size are ok too and i could adjust a few times for @media widths. Whatever works best. I just didn’t find a way to make it work right and i’m thankful for any help.

    Thank you for your time

    Hi,
    I know i want all fields that need to be filled in one place or as close as possible.
    I settled for a 2 columns layout and put billing and payment side by side.

    Thank you,
    B.Anders

    1. This is pretty curious. I already had tried this option and the order button was not showing. Meantime i reinstalled German Market and the button is back. Instead, i get the Order table after the button.

    I can drag the order review table over the paying options in the Kadence template but ideally the order review table would be the last before the checkboxes and the button, or am i wrong on this?

    1. file sent

    2. just in case someone looks for the same issue:

    /**
     * Change text strings
     *
     */
    function my_text_strings( $translated_text, $text, $domain ) {
    	switch ( $translated_text ) {
    		case 'Cart Summary' :
    			$translated_text = __( 'Warenkorb und Optionen', 'woocommerce' );
    			break;
    		case 'translation example 002' :
    			$translated_text = __( '002', 'woocommerce' );
    			break;
    		case 'translation example 003' :
    			$translated_text = __( '003', 'woocommerce' );
    			break;
    	}
    	return $translated_text;
    }
    add_filter( 'gettext', 'my_text_strings', 20, 3 );
