    Hi Ben,

    My Apologies, I just made this fix. Please let me know if I did it correctly and if not where I would go to do it.

    Your right it is not a Kadence Slider issue (I was thinking about it before sending you the message and it got stuck in my mind)

    It seems that the banner does not fit in the container correctly on IE or FoxFire but works for Chrome and Safari. I mainly use Chrome and was informed of this issue after updating the theme and plugins last week.

    I appreciate your guidance!

    Got it, thank you!

    Perfect, that css works.

    Ahhh! Thanks! Found it. Sorry, I’ve been switching back and forth between another site that uses Pinnacle.

    Not sure about the thread not showing, may have been a browser issue, I think I switched to Firefox and it worked this last time. I’ll screenshot what I see next time and see if it goes through or not.

    Thanks for your help

    Perfect, thanks!

    Ha! Sorry, it helps if you assign a menu, huh?

    April 5, 2018 at 12:37 pm #186356

    Huh, I didn’t even realize the menu was missing! How do I make it show on mobile to the right of the logo?

    I need to add additional links than what is already available. You have text input areas for email, phone, facebook, twitter, instagram, and linkedin.

    I need to add links to their websites and Youtube channels – and possibly more. I’d like them to be the same format as the rest – the grey icon in the same row as the others.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks, yes, I know how to include basic links – I’m asking if I can add to the list of social links on the staff profile that come with the theme. See screenshot below.

    Got it, thanks!

    Exactly what I’m looking for, thank you!

    So change orderby="date" to orderby="rand" to get the posts to show up in random order, yes?

    [staff_posts orderby="rand" filter="true" link="true" columns="4" group="all" items="40"]

    Thank you, that worked!

    Got it thanks, that makes sense.

    Quick question, is the ul in front of ul.sf-menu necessary? Do we need to identify the tag as well or is it enough to use the class .sf-menu?

    Ok, thanks. I removed that CSS – the person who added it wasn’t sure why they did. But I can’t find the extra padding you’re referring to?

    The only padding I see is on the .less css sheet:

    .sf-menu a {
        display: block;
        position: relative;
        zoom: 1;
        letter-spacing: .2px;
        padding: 10px;
        -webkit-transition: all .2s ease-in-out;
        -o-transition: all .2s ease-in-out;
        transition: all .2s ease-in-out;

    The menu looks good right now after removing that margin. What would be the best way to add more space in between the text? Something like:

    .sf-menu a {
        padding: 15px 20px;

    Got it, apologies and thanks for sorting that out. I didn’t realize formatting the font would affect that.

    I’ve corrected the broken CSS and removed all of the CSS modifying the slider text and it works fine now.

    Would it be possible to add functionality to the slider in a future release? Specifically, text align, and text-transform / font-variant?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Ahh, that makes sense. I set the slider grid to 650 to match the image – it looks fine on desktop and in laptop view port settings in the chrome inspector, but it’s still off center when viewing on an actual laptop in chrome. We cleared the browser cache.

    Got it, no worries. I reentered the elements on the 600px grid, it looks good on mobile but it seems to not display correctly on desktop and laptop – 1440 and 1920 wide.

    Is there another way to add a background to text with CSS that would achieve a similar result?

    That hides the hero background image as well.
